1 Nephi 21:5–7

And now, saith the Lord—
_that formed me from the womb
_that I should be his servant,
_to bring Jacob again to him—
_though Israel be not gathered,
_yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord,
_and my God shall be my strength.

And he said:

“It is a light thing that thou shouldst be my servant
_to raise up the tribes of Jacob,
_and to restore the preserved of Israel.
_I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, 2248
_that thou mayest be my salvation
_unto the ends of the earth.

“Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, his Holy One,
_to him whom man despiseth,
_to him whom the nation abhorreth,
_to servant of rulers:

“Kings shall see and arise,
_princes also shall worship,
_because of the Lord that is faithful.”
