Who will be the judges of the house of Israel?

Thomas R. Valletta

“Jesus is the Judge of all. The Father judgeth no man but hath committed all judgment unto the Son. But the Twelve in Jerusalem shall sit on twelve thrones judging the whole house of Israel; the Nephite Twelve, having been so judged, will in turn judge the Nephite nation; and we may well conclude that the hierarchy of judgment expands out to other legal administrators in the various dispensations. Just as the noble and great participated with the Great Creator in the creation, so those who are chosen and worthy shall participate with the Great Judge in the day of judgment. That the lesser judges must be as the Great Judge is self-evident” (McConkie, Mortal Messiah, 4:385).
