“It Bringeth to Pass the Condition of Repentance”
That is, Christ’s death, the supreme illustration of mercy, makes repentance and forgiveness possible. “And thus mercy can satisfy the demands of justice, and encircles them in the arms of safety” (Alma 34:16).
