“Did Prick Their Hearts with the Word”
It is consistent with the vigor of Jarom’s testimony that a message that threatens, pricks“ hearts before it can ”touch“ them. The word of God is quick and powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword, to the dividing asunder of both joints and marrow” (D&C 6:2). We are not and cannot be the same once we have heard it.
