However many who hear him speaking with the power of the Spirit resist it and go away uninformed and uninspired. Meanwhile he has done his best to write clearly and forcefully the things God has revealed to him. Furthermore he prays from the depths of his soul that what he has written in weakness will be strong in the hearts of his people when they read these things. He says he knows he has written harshly against all kinds of sin but no one will be offended by his words except those who possess the spirit of the devil.
