“Because They Are Rich They Despise the Poor”
Those trusting in riches despise the poor, often because those in poverty serve as a reminder of their obligation to share their wealth with those in need. The gospel of Jesus Christ is against class distinctions (see 3 Nephi 6:11-14; D&C 49:20).
