We now come to one of the great doctrinal dissertations in the Book of Mormon. Jacob first of all wants to explain us why he has been quoting these two great chapters from Isaiah.
We remind ourselves that Jacob has had a panoramic vision of the future just as Lehi and Nephi had seen it. He therefore wants his people to know that eventually the Jews will no longer reject the Savior but will join the true Church of Jesus Christ and be returned to the lands of their inheritance.
