“Many Things… May Be Likened Unto You”
Many of Isaiah’s prophecies find appropriate application among the Book of Mormon peoples. To show that their experiences harmonize perfectly with the prophecies of Isaiah, however, does not mean that these prophecies have been fulfilled. The Book of Mormon peoples are but a remnant of the house of Israel, and the ancient prophecies can only partially be fulfilled in their experiences, since the promises were given to all of Israel.
